How can we not give Dr. Shala Salem a five star rating when she gave us the gift of life? Initially, we thought we were coming for Dr. Salem senior based on our obgyn's recommendation for his credibility and success but when we first saw the young Dr. Shala we were not sure what to say, feel or do! After she gave a comprehensive detailed consult we felt a lot more at ease but we still went for a second and a third consult; we did our homework since we were spending a large investment. Surprisingly, Dr. Shala's consult was a lot more educational than the other two consults even though we felt she was younger so we assumed maybe she's less experienced? We are thankful that we based our decision on a few things: the doctor's knowledge, the doctor's commitment and attention to our case during the consultation, the training the doctor has recieved and most importantly we trusted our gut feelings after all these consults. We are blessed with our beautiful healthy baby boy and we can't. Wait to bring him to our first baby reunion with Dr. Shala.
