Review content:
My visit to Coastal Acupuncture was the most demeaning experience of my life. Before my visit, I spoke at length with the acupuncturist Isa (Greg) Holloway, and he promised me that he would confer with my present doctor of acupuncture in St. Simon's Island before my visit. When I arrived, he said he had been too busy to do so. I filled out pages of health information; however, when he came in to treat me, he stated that he was too busy to look over the information. He said that he would just give me a general ""stress procedure."" He quickly stuck needles THROUGH MY CLOTHING, wrapped my arms and legs in blankets, put a sandbag cloth over my eyes, and sprinkled some mist over me saying that Jesus and the angels were watching over me. I was laid on a warm bed which became unbearably hot. He and his receptionist promised that I would be out of the office by 3 because I had a very important business meeting at 3:30. I was forgotten. In the meantime. I finally had to throw off the covers and uncover my eyes because I was so uncomfortable. Finally, the receptionist came in to remove the needles. She couldn't find them all, so I had to assist. I came home with one still in my body. I got dressed and was shocked to find that my pocketbook had been removed from the room without my permission of knowledge. It had been placed in the outer office on the floor. \r \r I was upset. Isa was nowhere around. I told the receptionist that I would not be back for the other two sessions I had paid for. Finally, he walked out, and I expressed my concern that he had neither consulted my primary acupuncturist who is a doctor nor had he bothered to read my files. I was more than troubled that he removed my handbag. I left; however, when I discovered that I had missed my meeting, I re-entered and asked why on earth I had been forgotten. He folded his hands, smiled, and said, ""Well, I guess this has been a misfortune on all accounts."" \r \r If I were you, I would think carefully before purchasing a visit to this place. I have never felt so demeaned and violated.
