Review content:
If you feel like getting a shakedown when ordering a beer, go ahead and visit Hoppers. The waitress asked my wife for her ID, looked at it and then asked her to leave it out on the table and she would be back. Minutes later a second employee (host?) comes to our table, reviews her ID and then asked for mine, mind you I am 46. How about 1 person ID? When asking the host about this upon leaving, he said two pairs of eyes are better than one. I've never had this experience anywhere. Either they believe their servers are idiots or need eye exams, or they think their patrons are fooling them.\r
\r
From there, the menus were crusty and greasy and matched the table's presentation.\r
\r
The food was average, but everything tasted worse after the opening act. \r
\r
The only positive was the 5 minute wait, go figure...\r
