I moved up here from Florida a few years ago. Really struggled with finding honest mechanics and got gouged by several local shops.
I decided to try these guys and they were fantastic (Greg is the man!) They do good work at a fair price, but most important, they don't try to upsell you a bunch of fixes you don't need.
Ever take your car to a place for one thing, then suddenly, you get a call from the shop and it seems like your whole car needs rebuilt? - or you're presented a laundry list of problems and you can pick a few jobs so it's just enought to wreck your monthly budget? (but increases the shop's sales quite nicely)
The best thing about these guys is they're going to fix what needs fixed. If they call and tell you that something else needs fixed, it's probably a danger if you don't - not just an upsell.
