Review content:
The quality is extremely poor. The fit is terrible. The crank squeaks now when it didn't before. He has possession of our old, much higher quality, roll of fabric shade. The one he put in, that we paid over a thousand dollars for, is thin and cheap. It has several dark seams holding panels together. The seam work done on this ""custom"" shade is uneven and unprofessional and very visible as it's white thread on thin fabric backlit by the sun. It looks like a child stitched the panels together. The stripes don't line up. The flap is excessively long and has TWO big white labels with his name on them facing the windows of our breakfast room. So we have breakfast while we look at an ad for a company we now detest. He has not been at all reasonable. He seems to be taking our disapproval personally and digging his heels in. We have no choice but to engage our legal team. The name implies canvas quality. But this is in fact the same quality you'd get from buying a disposable picnic table cover at Target. Only it cost us over a THOUSAND dollars! This man is a crook. He misrepresented his product both on-line and in person. He made all kinds of promises to make the sale. All of which he has not kept. He insists that we allow him to waste more of our time trying to fix what will always be an inferior product. We feel he is taking advantage of us based upon our address. When we give to charity we give to charity. When we purchase an item for our home designed to make life more comfortable, we expect it to be as advertised. This is a joke. I have many many photos I'd be happy to send to you to show you exactly what I mean. The quality is horrendous. We want a FULL and complete refund immediately. We want him to take away this junk and bring back our old one, which we can have repaired. He refuses to give us back our property. This is illegal as far as I know. Lying to get someone's money is stealing. Taking personal property that does not belong to you is stealing too. So I feel the world should be warned of the fraudulent business practices of this organization. And he should be held accountable. Thank you.
