This is the perfect little Chinese restaurant close to home! You know how it is to just "crave" some good Chinese takeout and then get a "less than perfect" meal - it's such a dissapointment. You will not have that experience here - this place is really excellent!
Keng's is located in Crystal, close to the Police Station and Library (right off 42 Ave North). It is a very small restaurant and easy to miss, so have your eye out for the yellow sign.
This is a sit down restaurant with 5 or 6 tables, but most people come for take-out. You can call in your order or come by and order and will only have a 5 minute wait (their fast!)
The menu is large, they have many combo's and specialty items and the prices are very, very reasonable for the large portions they serve. Me and my daughter share an order of chicken sub gum (made w/ fresh green and red peppers, not canned like usual) w/ a side of crunchy cashews to go on top,large order of fried rice, 2 egg rolls and 1/2 order of cream cheese wontons all for less than $8.00. An awesome deal!
The food really is very fresh and the staff are quick to put it all together, they are friendly and never forget to add enough soy sauce, sweet & sour and of course - plenty of fortune cookies!
You have to try Keng's if your a fan of takeout Chinese!
