Mr. Dennis Hanvey, of Hanvey Tree Service, is a consummate professional when it comes to his business. My wife and I hired him on the word of our neighbor, and are we glad we did! Dennis gave us a VERY good quote on removing some trees that endangered our house/property (especially after that crazy storm we had last summer!)
Mr. Hanvey was very quick at calling me back, setting up a consult, and surprisingly, was very quick to start on the job. Most other places we had received quotes from said they couldn't start for another 2 weeks or so. Dennis told me on Sunday, that he'd start on Tuesday that same week. Sure enough, Tuesday morning at about 8:30 am he showed up with his crew and got right to work.
Mr. Hanvey and his crew are very professional, and they clean up each and every day so that there isn't a big mess to clean up. Of course this is all variant on where you are having your trees cut down. Dennis is also very good at changing plans on the fly. We wanted to have a few more trees cut down, he stopped what he was doing, walked over, and said "OK, no sweat!"
Last thing that I would like to mention, is that this is one of the most honest and down to earth businessmen I've dealt with in a very long time. Dennis will tell you what his honest opinion is on what needs to be done. If it wasn't for his careful eye, one of the trees that wasn't even on our radar, very well could have been the next one to fall on or near our house.
