My husband and I moved across town but because we were moving out of our townhouse with a number of very heavy items (and we promised our friends when we moved IN to said townhouse they wouldn't have to help us move out) we decided to hire a moving company. I looked on Yelp at reviews of Jordan River and, frankly, thought most of the bad ones (I read the negative reviews first to see what I should look out for) were pretty bogus. Look, moving across the country is a pain; I've done it and another company I used delivered my belongings over a week late. It happens with other moving companies, too (not that it should, but it does)! What set JR moving apart for us was the fact that they would move some specific items that other companies wouldn't. JR Moving was upfront with their prices, we knew what it would cost before we hired them. They arrived within the window that was designated, were very efficient, courteous, professional, and respectful of our belongings! Because we moved on a weekend we knew there would be a minimum time for which we would be charged and that makes sense. I would absolutely recommend them!
