Last summer a girlfriend of mine suggested we have drinks & dinner at the Polo Grill. It was the start of something great! We now meet at Polo almost weekly. For starters, the owner, John Marx, makes everyone feel special with his welcoming smile as he personally greets his guests upon their arrival. Ambiance is quite comfortable with its “club” feel and for couples looking for a nice setting, it is also romantic. Polo’s wait staff knows their craft as they are polished and professional giving just the right amount of attention to the table. The food? There is something on the menu for everyone. All American fare with great flavor! I can honestly say I have tried just about everything on the menu and each meal has left my taste buds quite pleased. My favorites are “Polo Chicken”, “Sea Scallops” scampi style, “Veal Picatta” and the “Filet Mignon Bordelaise”. They have a nice list of deserts as well but the complimentary “Ice Cream Shooter” is usually just right. You can always dine at the bar if you are in a more casual mood. All in all, Polo Grill is loved by many and offers great value!
