Review content:
Mr. Gill, owner/host, is as hospitable as any India restaurant proprietor we've ever met, and we've met many. Subcontinental cuisine being our favorite, we've sought out and sampled India restaurants worldwide. Taj Palace food quality is near the top. Only small weakness are the breads. But the rest superb. A little more India ambience would enhance the experience, but we keep returning quite happily and have done so for many years. Lunch buffet much greater value than dinner ala carte.\r

I'm now (Jan. 2008) updating the review after several return visits. We've found the breads better than previously remembered, buffets remain excellent, and even though dinner more expensive than lunch buffet (quite normal with India restaurant pricing) that doesn't keep us from occasional dinner at Taj Palace. Mr. Gill is as welcoming as ever, and his delicious authentic subcontinent food remains right at the top of our India eatery list.
Pros: Food, Owner/Host, Lunch buffet
Cons: couple staff members sub-par but don't let that deter you.
