Review content:
Hoffman is an awful doctor and a malpractice lawsuit waiting to happen because he is too pushy and is forcefully aggressive along with being totally inconsiderate, condescending and incompetent. This is a chop shop doctor to the T.
First thing he says after five minutes reading over my file - in front of us, which was awkward - is, "Hope I'm not the bearer of bad news but you're having twins." Jerk. The entire visit goes downhill from there...
He just assumed I was underage (I am 26) and thus treated me like I was 16 and Pregnant. I brought my aunt - who had supertwins - to come help me assess him as a good doctor for a high risk pregnancy. He never remembered that statement and addressed her as my mother.
Still, he forgot I was having twins so he only took one heartbeat, never bothered to measure my fundal height, and my aunt had to tell him when he was finding the heartbeat for the one he did take because he totally couldn't figure it out. When I just MENTIONED I was excited for to possibly see the genders at 20 weeks, he told me I shouldn't find the kids genders out by yelling at me about what that ultrasound was "really for!". Then he insulted me on repeated counts if I bugged him to answer a question.
He tried to tell me drinking water was only for comfort and not necessarily helpful until the third trimester because if I became dehydrated it'd only cause mild contractions and I could just go to the hospital and have them put fluids in me if that happened. What?!
He tried to tell me the wrong due date. My chart hadn't been updated AT ALL from my first ultrasound. We fought over the date he'd imagine scheduling my section... This whole debacle proved to me they would induce a high risk pregnancy early - because they aren't competent. Because, again, patients are treated like stupid, insufferable creatures here.
Run, don't walk, away from this clinic. It's literally a drive thru for pregnancy nightmares and will suck the joy out of your pregnancy.
