Our entire family used to frequent this restaurant often. But NOT anymore! Ever since Sept. the place has gone downhill. Each one of us (14 total) have experienced cold food at one point. My dad had to send his Steak Budapest back twice! A favorite dish for all of us, the Veal Paprikas, was sour on two occasions.The service has also been quite laxed. We waited 15 minutes for a waitress last time we went, yet we could see most of them talking by the bar. I finally decided to ask a long-time employee what the problem could be? She advised us that they lost their chef in August, and things just haven't been the same in the front or back of the house. They obviously miss him! I also attempted to approach the owner (Steve) about our experiences, as we have given him MUCH business over the years. He was very unresponsive, and didn't seem to want to be bothered. Needless to say, we won't be back, and we will be sure to let everyone we know not to go either! PS--We recently learned from that same female employee that she is no longer working there either, as business is WAY DOWN, and the Chef that they lost is now at Fratellos. We plan on checking it out this week! Pros: A few good servers Cons: just about everything else
