I had some doors put in by another big box company. I ordered the doors through them, and when they came out, they completely botched the job. The trim wasn't put back on right, there were gaping holes when they finished. When they took it apart, I fired them. I hired Moseley Brothers Inc. on a recommendation from another customer of theirs. I hired them to fix the other contractor's problem. They fixed it perfectly. They even laid tiles down for me in front of my sliding glass door where there had previously been carpet.
That was the first job they did for me. Based on that experience, I used them again recently. I wanted all new storm windows installed. They came out and took measurements and ordered the windows for me. They came out and put one window in to start with. They wanted to make sure I was happy with it before they installed the remaining 8 windows. They came back out, and put all of them in and did a perfect job. Now my house is more energy efficient. The windows look good, are straight and I am very satisfied with the work they've done. I also really appreciated that they offer to dispose the old windows for free, whereas the big box store would have disposed them at $30 a pop, times that by 9 windows, and that's a lot of extra money for them just to go to the dump for me.
The big box stores offer low prices on products, however, I ended up getting a cheaper price through Moseley anyway, plus quality labor that was done correctly. I was very happy with them and I have recommended them to several of my wife's friends who have used them and have also been very pleased with their service.
The guys at Moseley's are really personable. These guys are great at communicating and send emails and send written, professional estimates to their customers. They do what they say they're going to do at the time and price they say they're going to do it at. All added up, they'll continue to have my support and I will continue to use them in the future and recommend them to others.
