Review content:
My son has had surgery at TMC twice, the first time was a few years ago and the second time was 2 days ago. Our first surgery visit was horrible, many problems with the staff, the room, service, even the surgeon, I could go on forever. This visit however was amazing Hince the title surprisingly amazing.
Since our last surgery they have changed everything! They have a children's center that is incredible. The staff were all respectful, not only that they were nice and actually liked helping the children. They are trained to work with kids specifically. My son has developmental delays and they were so good to him. Before surgery they had a child life specialist play with him and get him emotionally ready for the surgery. They kept us informed every step of the way. The staff answered all of our questions without getting annoyed (and trust me we had a lot lol).
I cant tell you enough how awesome they were. I would recommend them to anyone. I was so worried about TMC due to our visit a few years ago but let me tell you if your kid has a surgery scheduled or your looking into hospitals- Go to Tucson Medical Center and don't stress about it anymore. You will be in good hands.
