If you need a local vet, consider using Dr. Carpenter or Dr. Meeker at Hiram AH. We take our 4 dogs there and trust the vets and their staff members to handle all of our animal needs. When we were volunteering for local rescues we took the foster animals there as well and always received excellent care. The prices are reasonable...not a cheapo vet, but not someone out to gouge you either. The front office staff are very helpful and seem to really care about each of the pets that visit them. Overall, a great vet at a great place. They have recently renovated the hospital section so now it is even nicer.
