The stylist I had was Megan who was fine till I requested that the Goldwell color be left on my hair for no more than 20 minutes. She got downright angry and insisted that for the color to process properly it had to be on longer. I explained to her that I used Goldwell for @15 years and have never had a problem with leaving for 20 minutes. In fact I had been told by a wonderful hair dresser that my hair took color quickly and would look brassy if left on too long. I gave in and told her to keep it in longer since she kicked up such a fuss! Here's where the truth revealed itself. She took 30 minutes to fully apply the color!!! I have had my hair done all over the country and have never had anyone take soooo looong to apply color. She then wanted to leave it for another 30 minutes!!! Well folks by this time parts of my scalp started to feel very irritated. I insisted that she leave it in only 20 due to my concern. She walked away and @ 10 minutes later a 60ish woman with teeth that desperately need cosmetic attention comes up to me and says "I will be handling your hair instead of Megan" I said "Thank you" She then asked what the problem was and I told her. To which she replied " As a stylist I would NEVER HAVE A CUSTOMER TELL ME HOW TO USE COLOR!!!! In other words I am supposed to sit back and let a stylist do what they want to my hair even if I know it's detrimental for my particular issue. She told me to leave and to quickly "GET IN THE RINSE CHAIR". I was rinsed by what seemed to be a nice man and was fine with him. After all I have no problem with him. He then stirs things up by saying "it's too bad you don't get along with Ashley, she really cares about people" Folks, by this time I really just wanted my rinse without any further drama. How immature of a statement was his? She really cares about people???? How about listening without becoming offended by a customers individual preferences? At that point I told him not to put me under the dryer that I would just leave with wet hair.
