Review content:
The store is filthy, as has been mentioned, but the customer service is atrocious.
The store is almost completely staffed by black women with attitudes.
Today we tried to return a 1 day old defective item, on which we'd purchased an extended warranty.
As we stood in line, we noticed one of the customer service agents - a huge, unattractive black woman - was staring at me. Politeness dictates that when one is caught staring, they look away. Not this woman. She was determined to stare me down. I got out of the line and left my boyfriend to deal with her.
He got to her, presented the item and the receipt, told her that there was not another item in stock for an exchange (though we would have loved to have had one) and she told him that he couldn't have a refund.
Meanwhile, black and Mexican women were walking up with no receipts and getting refunds.
I asked him why he didn't request the manager and he said ""I knew there would be a problem as I was walking up to the counter... I was the only white guy in line and she was giving me nasty looks. I'd have been standing there another 15 minutes while she 'remembered' to call the manager to the front.""
I'll be calling the Regional Manager tomorrow.
