This amazing game store caters to all social gamers with tabletop gaming, miniature war gaming, Magic the Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon, Role Playing Games, a LAN computer area with 4 high speed high graphic gaming computers, an X Box and PS3 area, and an expansive open table area for free play. \r
The store has all kinds of table top and card games for sale, RPG supplies and books, miniatures and the tools and paints to assemble them, and some wonderful and unique gift items relating to everything from Dr. Who to Star Wars and more. They have an extensive selection of unique and beautiful Chess and Backgammon sets. There are Walking Dead Games, Game of Thrones Games, Cataan and Dominion and Red Dragon Inn and their expansions, and tons more. There are T-shirts and lunch boxes and even a Rohrshach toaster!\r
Friday Night Magic drafts are held weekly at 7pm, and there is also a MTG draft on Sundays at 4. There are War Gaming Leagues and tournaments, and all kinds of activities going on weekly. Check out their facebook page at GeekWorldTyler to see what is going on and what is new. \r
They also take games and gaming supplies in good condition on consignment, so if you have some cluttering your closets this is an easy way to get them sold. \r
This wonderful store is the culmination of the dream of a retired navy veteran and his son. It is a completely family owned and operated business, with very personal and friendly assistance in helping to choose a gift or game or they will teach you any game they carry. They also have an extensive store library of card and board games that anyone is welcome to come in and use in store for free.\r
Many people have walked in the door and said it was amazing to find so many people there who love the social aspects of gaming as they do. It's a great place to hang out during a lunch break or before or after work or school. Go on in and embrace your inner geek!
