I called Al on a Saturday afternoon and he was on-site in 35 minutes (keep in mind that I lead a charmed life, and your results may vary). Al is a real pro, efficient, accurate, and speedy. He had the springs off in 15 minutes and the new ones installed in 20 minutes, perfectly torsioned on the first try.\r
I'm very much a DIY'r, but the cost of springs at the HD would have only saved me $60. I don't know how much the winding rod tools would cost but I got a 5 year warranty from Al at Shea Doors.
