Review content:
We had the worst experience at this restaurant. It was our 1st time and we were excited n told the waitress that. The chips and salsa are only complementary for the first bowl (not very big for a family) it says this in the appetizer section of menu which we did not look at since we never order appetizers. I personally have NEVER heard of this! \r
We got the enchiladas sauzsa ($8.99) n enchiladas Mexican ($8.99)There was not even a 1/4 rice that came with it and the refried brand were very runny. Once we got out bill we were charged $3.99 for chips PLUS $1.99 for salsa which the cup was about 1/4full. We unknowingly were brought more chips/salsa. Then $10.99 for the $8.99 enchiladas (my husband got steak which was one if the choices and no where did it say steak costed more) We were pretty astonished and our waitress was new and didn't even know about the charging of the chips. She apologized. \r
The cashier was rude when I questioned her about $6 extra for chips n $2 extra for meal. The waitress told her she didn't know they charged for more chip refills. The cashier pulled out the menu n pointed it out to us in appetizer section then asked if we are the chips while rolling her eyes! At this point I asked for a manager. We were charged $2 extra for steak and that could NOT be pointed out on menu because its something they made up. \r
I was told there was no manager there at all (on a Saturday which I found hard to believe) and since I ate the food I had to pay the amount on the bill. An extra $8. So save yourself the trip go to El Nortinos in winter haven who have better prices, larger portions, way better enchiladas n unlimited chips n salsa for FREE!!! Did I mention my water was never refilled despite sitting on the edge of table in plain view n I pulled out a water bottle from my purse just to finish my meal...\r
Or even Azteca. Same prices there, better food unlimited chips n salsa and a friendly staff. For the price we paid we could have had lunch at Outback!
