Review content:
The person that helped me was good but that was the only good part of my experience. I have rented from U-Haul many times but this was, by far, the worst experience with the equipment.
I don't understand why I was given the worst clunker on the lot when there were at least six other trucks of the same size which were in better condition and seemed to be readily available the same day. If this is standard policy, it doesn't make sense for customer satisfaction. I don't think this truck would have even passed a state inspection. There was a loud exhaust leak under the hood which, when stopped at a light, caused fumes to enter the passenger compartment. The steering was so sloppy that I could barely keep the truck going in a straight line. There was a part of the box section's side panel that was bent outward which would have cut somebody's leg if they happened to walk by and not see it. The driver's side of the bench seat was so broken down that my back was sore after driving the truck for only five minutes.
No parking available on lot to leave your vehicle when renting one of theirs.
Pros: Courteous personnel
Cons: Broken down equipment is rented to you before the good stuff
