Review content:
This place is okay as far as pubs go and they have an extensive menu. Burgers are slightly above decent and the fries are good. Oh, and salads are not their forte. Unfortunately I decided to rate this place today after just leaving for brunch. I've been spoiled by the fluffy yet crisp Belgian waffles at Julia?s (Wallingford location only. The Capital Hill Julia's serves an awful breakfast). Blue Star touts their ""best waffle in town."" It's on their website at least. This is simply not true. Their waffles are terrible. They're thin, flimsy, soggy and definitely not the best. Not even close. I think they may win on their omelets though. From what I can tell from peering at the table beside us, the omelets and the sides that come with them, are substantial and look tasty.
