Review content:
How do I begin to describe my devastating story - followed by the best smile of my life... I had a stroke very young, was 22 - in 2007. Lost a lot of teeth in between then and August of 2012 due to varying medical illnesses. I became unable to eat in that time and went from 242 to 110lbs. I came to Aspen Dental scared but confident, their staff assured me that I wouldn't have to be afraid, and that everything would be explained. I came in needing 15 extractions and 9 fillings which left me with only my front bottom teeth from left to right premolar to canine. I met my dentist, Dr. Mohammad, and immediately I was calmed by his smiles and words of confidence. I needed to have my teeth extracted - but I didn't want to leave without teeth (very complicated you would think)... But they made it happen! I had those extractions AWAKE by MY CHOICE, the Dr. was very quick, efficient, and made sure at all times I was in no pain. It took under 2 hours and I had a full denture on top and a partial bottom to go home with (Aug 2012). I loved my temporary dentures so much!!!!! At first I was grumpy, it's a lot of teeth to get pulled :) But Every Single Staff Member In That Office Took VERY Good Care of Me. Always made sure if I needed an adjustment and I was in pain I was in for an appointment. What gets better?? I was able to eat cut up caramel apples by October 2012 with my children, with peanuts on them! Bagels, Pizza, a BLT.... You name it, those temporary dentures took it. I have my new permanent dentures now I got 2 days ago which at first, like the temporary I was in an adjusting period and I was in pain. They squeezed me in and adjusted my teeth and now tonight I go to bed with food in my stomach. I will continue to update this review as I obtain the exact spelling of the names of the staff members and ""wear in"" my new awesome teeth! I hope I'm able to gain weight again soon.
