Dr. Sharon MacIvor seems to be the only Veterinarian in Miami Dade County, that uses Thymerosal free vaccines. I had launched an extensive phone search about one year ago, in the search for a Vet that uses Thymerosal free rabies vaccines. I was talking with the veterinary staff of over thirty Vet offices about the dangers of Thymerosal in vaccines in general, all of which were completely clueless. Most had never heared of Thymerosal! At last I found the Dadeland Animal Hospital and my little Maltese had her Thymerosal free rabies vaccine. If anyone cares enough about the health of pets, shouldn't a vet be the first one to know the difference? Well, Dr. MacIvor does! Today, as well as two days ago I came with my friend which is from France and doesn't speak English too well. She needed the International Health Certificate for her Yorkie for a medical emergency trip back to Paris. Words cannot describe how Milly, Tash and both Veterinarians combined their knowledge and efforts to make it possible for my friend to be able to get her Health Certificate. I have never met a Vet that had his staff call the office of the USDA for a personal appointment, then provide me with driving directions, which is standard procedure. The Anti Parasite Meds had been ordered and were to be delivered by UPS, when the delivery had been delayed, Milly and Tash brainstormed and called another Vet's office for the needed medication, then drove over and picked it up. First class service and incredible problem solving skills. To top it all of, Dr. MacIvor gave my friend her personal and private cell phone number, in case she would encounter any problems when arriving in Paris, to call her! We are living in Miami Beach and we would go to the end of the world to see Sharon MacIvor and her staff.\r
The Dadeland Animal Hospital has the most professional and efficient staff in Miami Dade County, they are above and beyond friendly, concerned for our pets well being and \r
they will do what ever it takes to help you and your pet.\r
THANKS GUYS, YOU TOTALLY ROCK!!!!!
