Review content:
We have been using this shell station for gas for quite some time and have recently been bringing some vehicles for mechanic services. Not any more! Do not be fooled by George's seemingly kind demeanor. This place makes your regular dishonest mechanic look good! They took forever to do a clutch job and rebuild part of the engine, charging an arm and a leg on the way(about $2000). Next week the engine blew and we were convinced to spend another grand to have a used engine put in as well as put the rebuilt parts on the new engine. Then the car broke again and they said it was because someone must have broken into the engine on their premises and messed with the wiring...lol! Then they left some cap off and all the oil drained out. So once we had that fixed the check engine light kept coming on and they said they did not know why. The car began to stall out repeatedly and we took it back to hear that supposedly they had told us that the injectors had a prob and we never replaced it so that's why the engine light kept coming on. This was a complete lie of course so they would not have to fix again. They sent us away with no assistance but said it was working fine...but amazingly then the engine light was off and they car was working better for the first time in weeks. So they obviously did something which was more of a band-aid because now the lights back on and the car is seriously struggling. They cut you off when you try to explain the problems and show them they are responsible...and they try to point out any other problem they can charge you MORE for. Insane!!! They don't have a computer and are not very good at lying as I caught them in about 3 bold faced lies so far and they get angry when you won't let them change the subject real quick. This is my Fiances car and was only worth about $1000 to start. We are saving for our wedding but these guys seem to only care about padding their pockets at the expense of their reputation. Now we're going back again to insist they fix it and this yelp review is the first step before we report them further. I sure hope I can say something nicer about them when I update this in a couple weeks.
