Review content:
I've been through quite a lot with my little peek-a-poo over the last week. She dislocated her hip last Wed. and had to be taken to an emergency clinic. Safari is my normal vet so I took her in to check the bandage on Sat. Dr. Garner had just returned from lunch. He didn't even go in back, but instead came straight to her, and did a preliminary check. He was honest and straight-forward regarding the possibilities of difficulty in healing, and made me feel like I was quite at home in the office. Yesterday (Tuesday) I came home, let her out of her kennel, and walked her. She had thrown up in her kennel, and immediately upon hitting the grass hunkered and began bleeding profusely from her rectum. By this time it was close to 6, which is when Safari closes. I called them, and they asked me to bring her in right away. I've had other vet. offices tell me they were closing, and the pet would need to go to an emergency clinic if I didn't want to make an appointment for the next day, so their approach and attitude was a very pleasant change. I would definitely say if you live in the Clear Lake area, don't take your beloved pet to anyone else. The staff is excellent, and both Dr. Garner and Dr. Mooney are top notch, wonderful, caring, and understanding vets.
Pros: everything
