Review content:
Among all of the seafood joints in town lies Cafe This Way. It is tucked away behind Tamarind and a wonderful treat in a touristy town. It was a summer night and so crowds were a concern but choosing to eat a little later (around 9:30) meant that we did not have to wait for a table and had speedy, friendly service. I enjoyed everything I ate from the fresh bread, the delicious cocktails, crab cake appetizer and the grilled lamb sirloin. The cilantro-mint chimichurri on top was a little overbearing in the amount provided but using less led to a perfect complement to the lamb. There also was the goat cheese quesadilla that was good. Our server was very friendly and punctual. My only wish was that I had room for the many homemade desserts they offered. There is a gluten-free menu for those in need. Also, they are known to have a wonderful breakfast. It is a welcome change from the standard fried/broiled seafood joint. In addition, there is wonderful outdoor dining space away from the crowds and traffic.
