Review content:
I absolutely adore Dr Saccomanno. I had wanted to try an alternative to conventional treatments, but was apprehensive. In my past experiences with people in alternative medicine, I felt as though they were very judgemental that I was taking antidepressants. They seemed to have an attitude (without really knowing anything about me) that I was taking the easy way out, and that if I just put a little effort into it, I wouldn't need to take them. From the first time I met Dr Saccomanno, I knew she was different. Her manner put me entirely at ease, and talking to her was like talking to a friend. She respected my choice, and explained that if, at some point, I did want to try an alternative, it would be a process that would take place over a significant period of time. She has helped me to improve my physical and mental health, and educated me without lecturing me. Now I am in a position where I feel healthy and secure, and I have chosen to try and decrease my antidepressants. So far it is going smoothly, and it is a great strength to know that Dr. Saccomanno is there, not judging me, if I need help.
