Review content:
The place itself looks nice and new, and the receptionist was pleasant. The dentist spends a minute asking you how you've been, but that's it. You spend most of your time with the hygienist, who's nice enough. \r \r The problem is with the billing and whoever takes care of it. After forgetting to submit the claim for a simple standard cleaning, our insurance rejected the claim. You'd think that they'd do something to help out, and they claim that they're ""doing their best"". After speaking with our insurance (who would have fully covered the cleaning if it wasn't submitted 7 months after the actual check-up), it was clear that Island Smile was doing absolutely nothing to help out. We spent month after month following up with their biller/office manager, who did NOTHING. Finally our insurance said they'd accept the claim (our 1 freebie for the rest of our life with them) a year and a half after the actual check-up. \r \r We wrote a letter to the head of the practice to see if we could get some help. WE NEVER EVEN RECEIVED A RESPONSE! Not a letter or an apology for the inconvenience, NOTHING!!! Amazing customer service, right?
