Review content:
I wish we could give Toyota Direct ZERO stars!\r \r Last January, we went to Toyota Direct to buy a car to get us through Ohio snow. We took home a car that the salesman said was front wheel drive: except that it wasn't. \r \r The dealership wouldn’t undo the deal. We had to trade it in – plus $3000 – towards a comparable car that really was front wheel drive. And that had a bum transmission, as we found out within a week.\r \r ""Luckily,"" the transmission was covered by a warranty. We took it back to Toyota Direct for repair four consecutive times, and the problem got worse - and scarier - with each repair. \r \r The car sat in the shop for 10 months while we tried to resolve the situation with the dealership. Finally, we paid for a new transmission ourselves (which solved the problem).\r \r Needless to say, we won’t be back, and we thought it was important to share our story.\r
