Review content:
I have been to this store an uncountable number of times, and would recommend it to everyone. The first time I came in, I was concerned and apprehensive. I've heard about the dangers of buying puppies in pet stores. However, after a lengthy conversation with a sales person, I feel immensely better. After discussing some of my concerns, they took me in the back of the kennel to see what's going on there. And I didn't have to wait while people scurried around to cover anything up. They just offered to take me back and did. So I know nothing was being hidden. It was super clean and the people were very focused on what they were doing. Also, they showed me a book that explains where the puppies come from that had pictures of the breeders and some of the parents and the breeders homes and yards, so I could see that the puppies weren't kept in teeny cages like they try to tell you on tv. And, I guess a new law was passed that says all pet stores have to tell you where the breeders are, so you get their full name and address and everything. Not just a state like someone else commented on. I purchased both of my dogs, a Westie and a Neapolitan Mastiff here, and have had no problems whatsoever. Petland had them both vaccinated and microchipped and vet checked before they came home. Then, we got a free vet check after we went home.
Overall, I am extremely happy with Petland, and suggest that people go in and experience it for themselves before judging. Not all pet stores are created equal. This one is a winner!
