I have been a patient at this office for about 6 years now, I have had two children delivered by their doctors. I was seen throughout both pregnancies by their physicians and midwives. First pregnancy, everything was great, I saw a midwife. When it came time for the delivery my midwife was not there so I got stuck with a brand new and inexperienced one who had to read a book and use a dilation chart to figure out what to do. I ended up having an emergency C-Section with a doctor that was rude to me and cut me open while I still had pain because the epidural was not keeping me entirely numb. The cut was jagged and one half was about an inch higher than the other. Second pregnancy I HAD to see one of the doctors, so I chose one that I had met during the first pregnancy. She seemed very nice, but when it came down to the appointments she was in and out of that room in less than ten minutes and I felt so rushed that I usually forgot to ask half of the questions I had planned on asking. Of course she recommended another c section, because its safer for me and the baby...but when she and the nurse midwife cut into me they did it properly so now I have two lines across my stomach instead of just one (Shouldn't they cut along the previous incision???) So I have my 8 week appointment scheduled for 9:45am today and I get a phone call at 9:20 telling me that she can't see me because she was called away. My insurance ends on November 1st, I needed to be seen TODAY, I had childcare planned out for my 4 year old and I had already gotten my newborn ready to go. They tell me they aren't even sure if they can get me in on Monday, but they will try to fit me in out in Canby. I tell them I can't because my 4 year old has preschool, its his second day and I am not going to make him miss it! So their answer to me is to try to make an appointment with planned parenthood...Are you freakin kidding me!!! I had this appointment planned for over a month! Needless to say, I will not be returning to this clinic! I work in the medical field and I have referred patients to them as well as friends. I will not be sending anyone to them EVER again. If it had only been the midwife lacking experience and the rude old doctor it would have seemed like an isolated incident, but it seems that sadly everyone in that office is lacking!
