Review content:
I used to get a yearly physical from Dr. Burns. This physical comprised of the same tests year after year...my out of pocket cost was about $100.00 after insurance. On year #3 physical, I received a bill for over $700.00. I called Dr. Burns, who didn't take my call, but transfered me to ""billing"". I asked her the details on the costs and she said that my insurance didn't take care of part of my bill...therefore it was on me. I called my insurance company (the same company and plan I've had all 3 years) explaining that I have the same physical done every year...and asked what was the price difference? They said that my doctor ""coded"" a few tests differently than the previous years. I left 3 v-mails with Dr. Burns asking him to explain the difference in coding from previous years to this year. I never received a return phone call. Annoying. I have since found another doctor...and learned an expensive lesson.
Pros: Nice office, you try to get you an appointment ASAP
Cons: Bad customer service, Expensive
