Review content:
When my boyfriend and I went to SuperPetz the other week, we were both horrified about what we saw: a morally reprehensible number of animals (the rodentia and lizards immediately come to mind) housed in one cage; decaying fish in the tanks and on the floor infront of the tanks; and a wounded lizard who was being trampled upon in an overly- crowded cage, and that obviously had escaped the assumably neglectful store employees' attentions. \r

The worst image for me was the one of numerous hamsters fighting for a place on the solitary metal wheel, where various limbs and heads were in danger of being mangled. Anyone that is even casually knowledgable about hamster care is aware that the wire wheel used at SuperPetz is dangerous to the animals and injuries are likely with its use. In addition, most experts (and hamster owners) are aware that hamsters almost instinctually must run on the wheel, and so having just one wheel for 20 hamsters to use is unacceptable and inhumane. \r
\r
I would, without hesitation, assert that my experience at this SuperPetz store has been the worst pet store experience in my memory of pet store patronage. I will never shop at any SuperPetz again. \r
