Review content:
We had a sewer blockage at my son's house, which I had snaked out by another plumber. The diagnosis was that we had tree roots infiltrating the sewer line, a common problem in the neighborhood. I contacted three firms that had done neighbor's sewer replacements for price quotes. Ben Franklin plumbing (BFP)was 20% below the other two, and had glowing a recommendation from the neighbor across the street that did a replacement last year. We contracted with BFP who agreed to do the job the following week. Unfortunately, the area was hit with two snow storms less than a week apart with at total accumulation of 27". BFP called us a number of times to advise of their current status, assuring us that they would begin the job as soon as the snow was cleared away and weather permitted. Although they did not do the original snaking of the blockage, they advise that if the line backed up before they could replace it, they would resnake the line at no additional cost. True to their word, they rescheduled the work and completed the sewer line replacement in two days less than a week after the snow was cleared of the property. At all times the workers on site and the office staff were professional and courteous. My wife even commented to me after receiving a few of the followup telephone calls that it was a real pleasure dealing with BFP personnel and that it gave her a feeling of confidence that they would do a great job - which they did. I would recommend them wholeheartly!
