On March the 6th, after reviewing and comparing the gyms in Cartersville, I printed off a 7 day pass that you offered on your website. I printed one for my husband (who is a current member at LA Fitness in Kennesaw and Stacks Fitness in Acworth- for weight training) as well as for my neighbor and her husband. We all planned on trying your gym together and I was confident that my neighbor and I would be joining some time within those 7 days. Sadly, after just 1 experience with your gym we never went back.\r

On Wednesday evening my husband and I arrived at your gym around 6:00, with our neighbors set to arrive shortly after. Upon arrival we waited in the front door area unsure as to where we should check in at. A few minutes went by with no acknowledgement from your staff so my husband proceeded to walk into the work out area to look for some one. He was stopped quickly by a gentleman in his late 20's with a Mohawk who asked for our ID cards. We explained to him that we didn't have a membership, only the 7 day passes. As my husband and I pulled the passes up via our email on our phones (it took less than 15 seconds) the gentleman turned his back and continued his personal conversation with, what looked to like to us, his friends. After a few more minutes of waiting my husband said ""excuse me"" TWICE before the gentleman would turn back around. At that time he looked at our 7 day passes and then pointed to a clip board and told us to sign in. He then TURNED BACK AROUND and continued his conversation. \r

My husband helped me get started with some of the equipment, he is much more experienced than I am, since no one from your staff bothered to show us around or even take the time to explain the benefits of your facility. I kept expecting that at some point the gentleman that was so rude to us would come over and at least introduce himself or welcome us to Anytime Fitness, but shortly after we arrived I watched him gather his belongings, lock the front door, and have another conversation outside. This time with some young females. Not another word was said to my husband or I by any of your staff.\r

I am so thoroughly disappointed in our experience, that I don't know if I would visit any other Anytime Fitness...ever! Your Cartersville location has ruined your good name for my family, and my friends! I even went as far as to call my neighbor after our arrival and told them just to stay home. It was not worth the drive for them to experience what we experienced.\r

Your staff member gave me no reason to want to join your gym, nor did I have ANY reason to return to complete my 7 day free trial. I am so disgusted by the way we were treated by a person that represents your name, and I will tell anyone of my friends in the area who are looking for a gym to not even bother with Anytime Fitness. I can not tell you how to run your company, or even who to chose to staff it, but I can honestly tell you that you should be ashamed at that young man who you allow to represent you!!
