Review content:
Give us your old, your worn out, your tattered...and we'll help you buy it back at the Dollar Store next month!
For a small fee (the same as the dump's!) you can take your old mattresses, refrigerators, clothing...you name it... to East County Recycling Center. Most such centers just throw everything back into the earth. NOt ECR!! They rip up things to the lowest common demoninator and find companyies to recycle ALL of it. For example, a mattress will produce raw metal, insulation, and sometimes wood.
Much of their recycling (which has one of the highest percentages in the nation!) contributes to our national export to Asian nations which turn around and sell it back to us as dollar store items, insulation, and other products.
After learning about this place, I'll never take my stuff to the dump again!
