Review content:
Dr. Cheatham, Dr. Hunter and the entire staff are incredible! Around 3 weeks ago, my puppy Dash climbed our backyard fence and went running the neighborhood on his own. He ran out in front of a vehicle on Old Woodlands Road and was hit and injured badly. The driver in the vehicle and neighbors standing by immediately called Cheatham Animal Clinic and eventually tracked me down.
By the time I got to the scene, Cheatham Animal Clinic was already on hand tending to Dash and asked if I wanted to take him in and the answer was absolutely yes. His backside was tore up and his leg bone was sticking out with most of his tendons and muscles torn.
When we arrived at the clinic, Dr. Cheatham took X-Rays and sat me down and went over his professional recommendations and the situation at hand realizing my pup Dash was in pretty bad shape and could possibly lose his leg. The next day they performed surgery and Dash stayed at their facility for several days to rehabilitate. It's 3 weeks later and Dash is about to get his cast off and his back has healed up nicely from where they sewed him up. The great news is that he's going to be able to run again and have close to normal use in his badly injured leg.
It doesn't stop there, as the entire staff took him in and treated him like he was one of their own. They phoned me every night to let me know how he was doing on top of all the personal visits that we made daily checking up on him.
Not only has the staff been exceptional with our beloved pet, they have been exceptional with our family and you can tell they take pride in what they do and really do care.
I would strongly recommend Cheatham Animal Clinic to anyone looking for exceptional veterinarian service in the downtown or southeast Columbia area.
