Review content:
General Utilities billed me $271 for a new transformer and labor saying it is not covered and that this was a storm related event. Apparently, they feel they can bully customers into paying this saying the transformer blew the generator. What actually happened was the blow off valve sprayed water all over the burner and transformer thereby shorting it out. The mechanic installed a 30inch extension pipe onto the valve to prevent this from happening again. He made no mention of this and submitted the ticket anyway. Unfortunately, i have no recourse other than to cancel my contract.\r
