We took our dog there for an ear infection. He went back 4 times that month and many $$$$ later he lost all the hair under his chin and around his eyes. Because I had not taken him personally to his last appointment I asked the vet to call me. I asked for an update and she said they hadn't seen him in weeks. I told her he was there last week and was prescribed a $30 shampoo....after she found the visit info she quickly ran through the fact that it wasn't mange and that more expensive tests would need to be run. I told her I was very concerned for our pet that he is going through extremes and is losing his hair. I asked if any of the costly lab test they had already done were ever sent to a laboratory and the answer was no. She then said - well it's probably allergies. I told her I had a dog with allergies so I'm familiar with them and then she cut me off. She went on and on about how dog allergies are not like people and therefore I wouldn't know what I was looking at. I explained on my other dog, he had red skin and itched until the area was bald. This dog has white raised bumps that are crusty and all the hair around it is falling out. She then started to laugh at me and said it was allergies that he has. I said ""please don't laugh at me I'm concerned about my pet"" she went on to say that if I wanted I could take him to a dermatologist (still laughing) I told her that we had entrusted her to care for our pet and I didn't understand why she was laughing and being so flippant. She raised her voice and said why don't you come pick up his records and take him somewhere else. Obviously we are! BEWARE!!
