I love this shop. I wanted a simple, tasteful, classic wedding dress but I did not want to spend more than $400. I went to the Wedding Party in Berkeley because a friend recommended the store to me. The owner, Jennifer, could not have been nicer. ""The Wedding Party"" is a lovely, intimate store and the staff make hourly appointments so that wedding parties can ""take over"" the whole store and try on dresses in many different styles. Although I was not buying dresses for bridesmaids, this is a store where it is possible to find bridemaids' dresses that bridesmaids really will be able to wear again. \r

I ended up choosing a long shantung silk bridemaids dress in an off-white, which worked perfectly as a wedding dress. Jennifer was extremely patient with me as I fussed about whether or not to have straps on the dress. Although I was not spending a great deal of money in the store, everyone in the store made me feel very special and their most important customer. Fantastic experience!\r
