Review content:
We have been very disappointed in the Primrose school since they hired the new director. Our child is in a toddler class that currently has 25 children. We were told when our child was enrolled that they pride themselves in keeping the numbers down in the classroom (below state requirements) so the children get more attention. Because of the class being so large, the room is always in complete chaos and the teachers are unqualified to take care of them. \r

Primrose claims they are an academic school, but our child hasn’t come home in a while with anything that shows they’re learning. Before our child moved up to the current class, we would get papers where the children were learning to write their name by tracing their letters. Now, we only get art work. What was once a school of learning, quickly became a daycare of babysitters.\r

The teachers always have a stack of incident reports to hand out to parents from children either hurting each other or acting inappropriately. Both the teachers and the director approach the parents like they’re the reason the child is acting out. We get teachers and directors who say to parents, “She/He did it again!” and “What are YOU (the parent) going to do to fix this?” The majority of the time there is only one teacher in the room during pick up time, which makes it absolutely impossible to discuss the incident with the teacher. But most of the time the afternoon teacher has no idea regarding the details that led up to the incident report.\r

They are all supposedly educated in child development, but often have no suggestions to help make behavior modifications. They instruct the children to “use their words,” but don’t give them ideas about what to say and when to say it. The children are so frustrated with others invading their space that they don’t know any other way but to lash out at their class mates and/or their teachers.\r

We suggest you stay away from this daycare!” You will pay way too much for what you’re actually getting.\r
