Businiess name:  HoneyBaked Ham

Review content:
I have always been a fan of HoneyBaked Ham. I enjoy the product. Today, however, I visited the Rancho Mirage store to obtain a quarter ham that had an ad in the paper advertising $23.99 for a quarter ham. I went there yesterday, but they were sold out. So going back today, I asked for the quarter ham at the advertised price of 23.99. The attendant asked how many would I like to feed. I said 3 to 4 people and that I have had the quarter ham before. She replied that it would be 29 dollars and change. I asked do you honor the 23.99 ad in the paper....she said, ""oh that, that's not a coupon and if you get that quarter ham it's all bone. I said yes, but isn't a quarter ham a quarter ham ? She looked in the cooler and said she doesn't have any 23.99 hams and that they were all 29 dollars.\r So it appears, a quarter ham comes in two types...one that is acceptable and one that is not. It's not the money that bothers me, it is the "" bait and switch"" tactics used by this store. To my way of thinking, a quarter ham is a quarter ham. Should be the same.\r It is a shame that this type of trickery is used in a store that had a good reputation. I like the product, just not the tactics of this store.
