This is in response to DARREN H (below): This is Complete Air Mechanical, the Company that is now answering the Crums Climate Control telephone numbers. \r

Crums filed Bankruptcy in March 2012, and we are NOT associated with them in ANY way, nor do we have or ever had ANY of their employee's working for our company since the closing of their business doors (December 2011).\r

As for our company finding a leak, and another company finding no leaks, we use updated, high end leak detectors, these leak detectors will detect the smallest of leaks, that way you are ensured to catch the problem early on to avoid any further possible damage to the equipment. There are a lot of leak detectors out there that Technicians buy based solely on the price of the tool, which ends up giving them a non-quality leak detector. We take pride in our service, and all of our technicians are equipped with good, high quality, more expensive tools that WILL do the job their designed to. \r

As for the $700 labor charge to change out an under warranty Evaporator Coil, this includes the items that the Manufacturer's DO NOT, i.e. Any Shipping & Handling, Freon, Labor, Acid Away, Filter Driers and and Misc materials that may be required to complete the job. It also includes the travel time to take the warranty item to the Distributor, exchange it for a new one, and the return with the item to the customers home. We also warranty this item with our labor for a 1-yr period as well. $700 is a very competitive price, and an Industry standard, unless you deal with a ""One man in a van"" or ""unlicensed/uninsured flight by night/side work technician"" type of company/person, which we are not.\r

It is VERY unfortunate that SO MANY consumers have been affected by Crums Climate Control, in a negative way in a lot of cases, with various bad stories to tell. It is our belief that Crums Climate Control is a fine example of an old saying that, ""The bitterness of poor quality lingers long after the sweetness of a low price is forgotten"" and it should always be kept in the forefront of the mind that ""the cheapest is not always the best"", as you have to be careful to not choose the ""WRONG"" company.\r
