Review content:
This might be vegan food, but it is simply fantastic! \r \r The food is full of spices, flavors and its something you can feel good about eating. They service very large portions for very little cash. It's very difficult to find a vegan (or even vegetarian) place that appeals to your taste buds so well.. \r \r And while the tempeh here is as 'close to meat' as humanity may ever get - don't come here looking for meat substitutes. Come here because the Tempeh and the Tofu taste amazing, regardless of the similarities. Enjoy the food on its own merit and you won't be disappointed.\r \r Asian Rose was the first place that ever opened my eyes to vegan food... and it's been the best I've had since. I live in Los Angeles now and all I have to say is enjoy it while it is there, Santa Cruz! I really do miss this place... And I'm very surprised it doesn't have a single review up! Pros: Outstanding food, great prices, on the Pacific strip (a little tucked away though) Cons: Everything is microwaved - seems a bit weird - but the food is delicious despite this.
