Review content:
I was an active member of this fitness center for over four years. The actual facilities and personnel were very good even through their management and ownership changes. They had a good offering of classes and services. Unfortunately, for personal reasons, I left the club in February of 2007. Then in August of 2008, I received a billing statement saying that I owed for the current 3 months (Jun, Jul, Aug 2008) membership dues plus late fees. I hadn't been a member for 16 months and was quite shocked that I would be getting a bill for recent months activity. Of course, I disputed the charges but they are insisting that I need to pay them. Further, they continue to post current month's dues on to the account. \r How is it possible for a company to dig up dead accounts and start charging the customer again? They have the upper hand when they have the ability to report negative findings on a customers credit report. I'm up to my 4th dispute letter - and counting......
