Portside is a very friendly community. We moved in a yr ago, and have been pleased ever since. The staff is awesome, the maint. are always on top of every issue and fix the issues quickly. They come around about 1 every 4-6 mths and check out to see if you have wear and tear on the home i.e. door hinges, flooring messed up and they repair it at that time. They also have Pest Control if you need someone to come out for an issues you just call the front office and they send someone right out. The office staff are excellent, they also provide a 1x free Lawn service prior to spring and they keep up the grounds in the entrance very lovely. There are your ususal problems with teenagers but nothing that you wouldn't encounter otherwise at a well to do community either. That is going to happen anywhere you live. Everyone acts like family here. They also give out free food once a month, in these days and times that is good for anyone. They give you a box full of food and include bags for you to get fresh veggies and fruit. The water bill isn't that high.. I have a washer and with that and there are 4 people in the home the bill is usually $11-$18. They have 2 pools and 2 playgrounds. The speed bumps can be annoying but it keeps ""most "" people from speeding. \r
