Review content:
I think Dr. Diesel is great; however, I was not too impressed with the staff and was horrified when my cat came home from the groomer way overly sedated and basically looking and smelling the same as when he came in (the whole reason I took him there was so he could be washed and extensively brushed out to reduce hairballs) except for having blood around his anus!!! He basically came home with a lot of unneeded stress and unneccessary vaccinations with out actually looking like he had ever been touched by a groomer. This was after being badgered by staff that the groomer would not touch him unless his rabies vaccination was last done within exactly one year, which they did not tell me in advance of coming in. The staff badgering included a description of how the health department would come to my house and cut my cat's head off if he ever scratched anyone because even though hes an indoor cat and bats are not interested in nesting in a ground floor apartment there is somehow a huge likelyhood that he is going to catch rabies and then scratch someone and get his head cut off even though rabies is spread by saliva not scratches. A staff member called me the following day to check on my cat (I guess because he was so heavily sedated) and I informed them of the blood and the other issues to which the staff actually stated she would tell the groomer so that she knows for the next time I bring him in!!! Are you kidding me? I would never go back to that groomer EVER!!! Unfortunately, the vet, who I actually like, has lost my business due to an overbearing vaccination policy and horrible staff.
