I called with a toothache and they got me in the same day. I had to wait, but they told me I would and my regular dentist said it would be two weeks before he could see me! When I checked in everyone was nice and friendly. They treated me like family, even though it was my first visit. It turns out that I had cracked a tooth. Dr. Shamblott explained my options and let me decide what I wanted to have done (and how much I wanted to spend). He explained the risks and advantages of each option. I decided on a crown. Molly helped me figure out my insurance, and she was really patient. After I made my appointment for treatment, I checked around and discovered they charged less than every other office I called for the same procedure! I am so grateful to Ian & Margery for sending me to Dr. Shamblott.
UPDATE 1/13/12: I brought my son in to see Dr. Shamblott this week. He was gentle and caring with him. My son actually wants to go back to the dentist! Why? He got to ride in the chair, have his teeth's pictures taken, get his teeth counted, and then got to have shiny teeth. AND he got a free toothbrush - he thought it was great. A far cry from my first appointment as a kid, when I was scarred for life and never wanted to go back to see a dentist ever again.
