This form of epilepsy often affects women after child birth and causes seizures as part of the menstral cycle.
Help is available!
While the Epilepsy Foundation NW provides all kinds of services from education and planning for employers to referrals and strategies for families and individuals affected by seizure disorders of all kinds, they are especially helpful to women.
Even if you're not sure if epilepsy is what's wrong..give them a call...and let them give you the questions to ask your doctor...and know you're not alone in the process!
